STUDY WEEKEND
AUG 25-27 / 2023
A STUDY WEEKEND FOR
YOUNG CHRISTADELPHIANS AGED 25+YRS
THE WEEKEND
TOPIC
"Faith and Anxiety"
- By Bro. Matt Tuckson -
FRIDAY:
The weekend will kick off with a relaxed evening of dinner at ~7:00pm on Friday night. Friday evening is a chance to unwind or perhaps join in a hymn sing around the bonfire after a busy week at work or school, catch up with old friends and get to know some new ones.

SATURDAY:
Saturday starts [not too] early with a rolling continental breakfast, followed by two studies before lunch. The afternoon is free to enjoy the beautiful natural setting of the Disciples Conference Grounds on Lake Erie: play GaGa Ball, basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, swim at a nearby public beach, fish, play games, nap, soak up the sun and connect with your fellow campers. Or, if you're feeling competitive, sign up for a crokinole, Spike ball, or cornhole tournament. A delicious dinner will be followed by games and a bonfire.

SUNDAY:
Sunday morning is one more class and memorial service. All good things must come to an end, and Sunday after the memorial service is packup and cleanup time. Lunch to go will be provided, and we will probably plan a casual afternoon hangout away from the camp for those who can stay.
GUIDELINES
'...do all to the glory of God.'
1 Corinthians 10:31
SW25+ was set up by a group of young people who wanted to offer as many young Christadelphians as possible an opportunity to read and discuss God's word together and to grow in friendships that help on the way to the Kingdom.

Suggestion for the weekend:
Throw your phone in your bag when you get to the camp, and only pull it out to google map your way home at the end of the weekend. Take a break from social media, emails, and updates and savour the rare opportunity to enjoy the present.
